Educational goals
- Exploring the potential of comics and life stories in teaching FLI/FLE;
- Seizing the method and exercises of the 10Fold teaching manual;
- Exploring tools for creating online Comics;
- Revealing your creativity to use it in language lessons;
- Discovering educational scenarios inspired by images from the 10Fold comic book;
- Drawing comic book sketches for educational purposes.
Program
This course is composed of 4 units
3:30 hours in a group in person | Assessment: Informal activities and final questionnaire
- Reviewing the terminology of comic book keywords
- Knowing the added value of designed and creative materials in adult training
- Identifying the added value of the biographical stories of female learners during FLE/FLI
- Sharing and exchanging about the practices of trainers for adults
- Translating the learning outcomes of the training into a pedagogical scenario for learners
3:30 hours in a group in person | Assessment: Informal activities and final questionnaire
- Discovering the 10fold II project and its comic
- Putting yourself in the shoes of a language learner and testing creative activities from the 10Fold II educational manual
- Participating in two creative activities “Narrative dice” and “Zig zag dialogue” to develop learners' ability to memorize and speak, and knowing how to animate them afterwards
3h30 in a group in person | Assessment: Final questionnaire
- Becoming familiar with online tools for creating educational comics
- Designing a “strip” (2 or boxes) and 2 or 3 phylacteries (bubbles), online
- Correlating the use of digital tools and the creativity of the trainer during FLE/FLI

- Imagining a scenario
- Drawing character sketches
- Building a dialogue
- Knowing how to place phylacteries (bubbles)
- Revealing your creativity and thinking about how to use it in language lessons
14:00: 4 half-days in person in Bordeaux
Training available in English and in French
Train groups of newcomers with a French language level of less than B1.
MCQ and self-assessment
Intra-company: Possibility of mobilizing the training plan for structures with less than 11 employees.
Inter-company: Consult your employer.
Intra-company : €3,000 (6 trainees minimum - 12 trainees maximum)
