How to lead learners to more autonomy in learning? Through reusable experiential and practical activities, this training enables you to discover how our brain works and the impact of stress on learning. It also provides strategies for learning and/or remembering.

  • Strengthening the memory capacity of adult learners;
  • Recognizing learning profiles according to M. MICHEL (2005);
  • Identifying the parts of our brain, how they function in learning, and the influence of stress;
  • Training memory with games and discovering tools for organization and memory (mind mapping, chunking);
  • Knowing how to self-assess and self-regulate in learning.

Program

This course is composed of 3 units

Unit 1 - Learning to learn - Introduction

3:30 hours in a group in person | Assessment: Satisfaction questionnaire, MCQ

  • Acquiring the vocabulary for knowledge, learning and remembering
  • Training your memory through games and discovering tools for organization and memory (mind mapping, chunking)
  • Discovering the mechanisms of the brain and the influence of stress in learning
  • Finding resources within yourself and in the group to manage negative stress

Unit 2 - My learning profile

3:30 hours in a group in person | Assessment: Satisfaction questionnaire, MCQ

  • Learning by following different learning strategies (visual, auditory, kinesthetic)
  • Identifying your learning profile with a test (M. MICHEL [2005])
  • Establishing strategies for learning in daily and professional life

Unit 3 - Pursuing a goal

7:00 in a group in person | Assessment: Satisfaction questionnaire, MCQ

  • Knowing how to self-assess and adapt to requests
  • Knowing how to self-regulate in learning - Pursue a goal (SMART)
  • Knowing how to work in a group to achieve a goal (scenario)
