Remobilize and improve the skills of job seekers in your region

Prescribed by public operators (France Travail...), Cap Ulysse offers a 2 to 6-month training course allowing job seekers to benefit from a mobility experience in another European country*, in order to develop their linguistic, professional and personal skills and to facilitate their access to sustainable employment.

Educational goals

The objective of this course is to mobilize and boost the job search or professional project and more particularly to help job seekers:

  • Develop their linguistic and intercultural knowledge.
  • Put into practice/develop their professional skills.
  • Strengthen their personal skills.

Program

This course is composed of 5 units

Unit 1 - Introduction to the Erasmus + program

 1 hour individually in person, 1 hour in a group in person | Assessment: MCQ

  • Discovering the Erasmus + system: objectives, actors involved, ins, outs and commitments of each
  • Formalizing the action: certificate of commitment and good conduct, financial contract, educational contract, quality charter

Unit 2 - Linguistic and cultural knowledge

3:00 in a group in person, 27:00 in individually, remotely | online language assessment test

  • Evaluating the initial language level during a selection test (oral interview and online tests) and then a positioning test (EU Academy online test)
  • Developing language skills: provision of an e-Learning platform (EU Academy) by the European Commission (in autonomy for 27 hours)
  • Developing intercultural skills
  • Discovering the European country destination
  • Accessing available resources and sharing information

Unit 3 - Preparing for departure

4 hours individually in person, 8 hours individually remotely| Assessment: final MCQ

  • Defining and transcribing a mobility project as part of a professional project
  • Writing a CV and a cover letter in English or in the target language
  • Preparing for an interview remotely, in English or in the target language

Unit 4 - Professional Immersion

173h individually in person | Assessment: final MCQ and completion of the Europass certificate

  • Applying and developing business skills, during a professional internship in Europe
  • Reporting and transcribing learning outcomes

Unit 5 - Post-return valorization of the experience

4 hours in a group in person, 4 hours individually remotely | Assessment: final MCQ

  • Sharing and testifying about an international Erasmus + internship experience
  • Highlighting the developed and gained professional skills
  • Recognize the transversal skills acquired during the internship and the experience abroad
