In order to strengthen the transversal, civic and citizens' skills of your learners, this training offers you activities related to global citizenship that can be integrated into your language courses, digital training or even basic skills training.

Program

This course is composed of 3 units

Unit 1 - Citizen of Bordeaux, Citizen of the World

3h30 in a group in person | Assessment

  • Having activities to address active citizenship and work on “citizenships”
  • Strengthening learners' ability to build relationships and to cooperate within a group
  • Knowing how to create educational walks via a geolocation application in order to help learners get to know their new place for a better life
  • Activating the professional and personal network of learners for professional purposes
  • Addressing human rights and the values of the Republic in a fun way

Unit 2 - Revisiting your migration journey

3h30 in a group in person | Assessment

  • Knowing how to understand a migration path, the Ulysse syndrome and the phases of adaptation
  • Facilitating the reformulation of the migration project in the light of the followed trajectory and the current reality
  • Using creativity to address learners' migration journey
  • Knowing how to approach the migration path with learners in order to promote transversal skills for better professional integration

Unit 3 - Intercultural competences in daily life

7:00 in a group in person | Assessment: MCQ, questionnaire

  • Understanding the concept of culture and becoming aware of your own cultural frame of reference
  • Being aware of intercultural, verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Developing tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to evolve in an unclear situation
  • Working in a group with a team spirit
  • Knowing how to apply and transmit intercomprehension strategies
