Educational goals

  • Identifying the connections between languages in the same linguistic area;
  • Detecting the general meaning based on the context;
  • Identifying plurilingual and intercultural communication strategies;
  • Putting into practice strategies for interproduction and intercultural oral and written communication in progress.

Program

This course is composed of 4 units

Unit 1 - Introduction to intercomprehension

1:00 in a group in person | Assessment: MCQ

  • Discovering the concept of linguistic intercomprehension
  • Identifying similarities and differences between multiple languages

Unit 2 - Plurilingual oral comprehension

2 hours in a group in person| Assessment: group production

  • Identifying and analyzing prosodies from different languages
  • Developing plurilingual oral comprehension skills

Unit 3 - Interproduction

2 hours in a group in person | Assessment: Production of a video

  • Identifying the obstacles to plurilingual communication
  • Identifying good practices that promote linguistic interproduction
  • Putting into practce the identified best practices
  • Developing your ability to interact orally in a plurilingual situation

Unit 4 - Intercultural communication

2 hours in a group in person | Assessment: MCQ

  • Communication conventions in an intercultural environment
  • The main modes of communication
