Develop your approach to digital tools and methods to use them with first-time learners, by discovering exploratory, experiential, and reflective activities. Learn how to design simple online activities that you can use during your lessons to motivate your learners and engage the diversity of their learning profiles.
In a few words...
This training is intended for adult women who are beneficiaries of BPI status (beneficiaries of international protection) or of another residence permit allowing work in France.
A short training course splitted into 5 modules on the learning of the French language, digital skills, the concept of citizenship and autonomy in learning.
Learn about the training offer
Educational resources: Group time and two individual meetings. A laptop is provided for each learner. Learning App games, role-playing games, theater, video clips. Access to educational resources.
Dates: 2 annual sessions in autumn and spring.
Educational goals
- Removing the peripheral obstacles to employment in collaboration with mentors (housing, health, childcare, etc.),
- Acquiring basic digital skills, for more autonomy on a daily basis,
- Strengthening linguistic skills in French - FLE to a DELF A2 level,
- Developing autonomy in learning,
- Seizing a selection of key resources to develop a professional project
- Identifying and promoting transversal skills, transposing them into a new professional context.
- Discovering and exploring jobs, encouraging atypical careers (so-called “male” jobs, self-entrepreneurship)
Program
This course is composed of 5 units. It includes a 3:30 hour reception time for interns and a final assessment time of 3:30 hours in a group.
7:00 in a group in person | Assessment: satisfaction questionnaire, learning apps exercises
- Becoming aware of your place as a citizen in France and knowing the basics of citizen rights and duties (outings and games);
- Recognizing the importance of a network and learning how to activate it in order to mobilize it for professional or personal purposes;
- Being aware of intercultural communication in order to be able to improve your communication strategies.
14 hours in a group in person | Assessment: MCQ, learning apps, satisfaction questionnaire
- Using a computer in daily life and when looking for a job and/or training:
- getting started with the computer and the Ubuntu operating system,
- knowing how to navigate the desktop and knowing the computer settings,
- creating a folder and a document,
- learning to sort and organize your files,
- using the keyboard in French,
- browsing the web and marking targeted searches,
- using the LibreOffice suite (explanation and discovery of the tools),
- using Google Translate and Google Lens,
- following a training session on Zoom with interactions,
- transforming into PDF, sending and filling in PDF,
- using Google Drive and Google Suite, for collaborative work (Word).
- Securing your Internet browsing (fake news, passwords, internet security).
- Empowering yourself on digital tools with Les Bons Clics (Emmaüs Connect).

- Using the comic book and the 10fold II notebook to strengthen language skills
- Understanding authentic documents related to socio-professional integration
7 hours in group in person | Assessment: satisfaction questionnaire, test on the online learning apps platform
- Finding in yourself your best way to learn, in line with the learning profiles defined by M MICHEL (2005).
- Acquiring the vocabulary of knowledge, learning, memorization
- Knowing the parts of our brain, how they function in learning as well as the influence of stress on learning
- Training your memory through games and discovering tools for organization and memory (mind mapping, chunking)
31:30 in a group in person | Assessment: satisfaction questionnaire, test on the online Learning Apps platform
- Identifying and valuing your skills
- Understanding a schedule and reading instructions
- Writing your resume and learning how to respond to ads
- Writing a formal or informal message (for emails, SMS, letters...)
- Discovering the basics of rights and duties in the professional context (in employment)
- Knowing the basic documents related to the world of work (ads, pay slip, France Travail convocation, etc...)
- Presenting yourself orally and by telephone and during a job interview (formal/informal)
- Visiting companies and training centers
- Discovering Métiers: Cap Métiers
- Becoming familiar with the vocabulary related to socio-professional integration and the business environment, in France
- Seizing the resources and tools useful to be autonomous in the job search
